MGT Larue Care Platform — SMS alert program
Effective date: September 20, 2026.
About this policy
MGT Larue Care Platform operates the care-board notification service at mgtlarue.org. This policy explains how we handle personal information associated with our SMS alert program. It covers SMS enrollment, notification delivery, support, and opt-out requests. It does not describe every use of care records elsewhere in the platform.
Information we use
We use your mobile number, your association with a care board, and your notification preferences to route alerts. We also use message event records, sending attempts, delivery information returned by our provider, and information you provide when requesting support. Our enrollment process will record your consent choice, when it was made, and the wording you agreed to. We retain opt-out information to honor your choice.
Supply and pass-down alerts are triggered by activity on the care board. The SMS contains a general alert and a link to sign in. It does not include the pass-down note itself, diagnoses, medication details, or other clinical content. Information within the care board is separate from the SMS message.
How we use this information
We use SMS information to send the alerts you request, manage your preferences, troubleshoot delivery, respond to support requests, maintain consent records, prevent misuse, and honor unsubscribe requests. The program sends operational notifications rather than marketing messages. Message frequency varies with care-board activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Service providers and sharing
We use Twilio and participating telecommunications carriers to deliver text messages. These providers process the phone number, message content, and delivery information needed to operate the service. Our website hosting provider supports storage and operation of the care-board application. Authorized platform administrators may access notification settings and operational records as needed to administer the program.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS consent is specific to MGT Larue Care Platform and is not transferred to another sender's marketing program.
We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to address misuse or protect the service and its users. This does not authorize the use of SMS opt-in information for third-party marketing.
Your choices
SMS enrollment is optional. You can use the care board without agreeing to text alerts. Reply STOP to a message from +1 252-645-2783 to stop further texts from that number. You may receive an unsubscribe confirmation. Reply HELP for automated help, or contact us using the address below. Turning off SMS does not by itself change your email notification preferences.
You may ask us to correct your notification number or request deletion of SMS-related personal information. We may need to confirm your identity and retain limited information needed to honor an opt-out, resolve an issue, or meet a legal obligation.
Retention and security
We retain SMS-related information only for as long as needed to operate the program, document consent, honor opt-outs, resolve delivery or support issues, and meet applicable obligations. We limit administrative access to people who need it to operate the service. Text messages are not a secure place for confidential care information; do not send clinical details in SMS replies.
Updates and contact
We will post changes to this policy with an updated effective date. A materially different messaging purpose will require the appropriate new consent.
